Photography is my passion. Making prints is my purpose.
Whether it's a small-scale triptych or a 10-foot-wide behemoth of a print to hang on the wall, the printed image is my real muse. Digital sharing just doesn't cut it for me. Don't get me wrong, there's a place for that and I am grateful for all the digital sharing avenues available to photographers today. But it doesn't hold a candle to making prints. Something about having that image on paper in my hand or wrapped with a tasteful walnut frame on the wall...it gives me that feeling of purpose we're all chasing. It's the reason I take pictures.
That's why I jump at every opportunity to turn my images into real, tangible art. And you know I do it right: pigment prints and C-Type wet process printing, only the best quality papers chosen for their unique look, and archival grade materials.
