How to manually expose for the landscape, what filters to use and how to use them, tips on composition, how to predict conditions and more.

Be prepared for mild hiking/walking down to and along the beach. There will be sea spray to contend with (bring lens cloths), warm temperatures in the summer and cold temperatures in the fall, winter and spring. We will not be covering image review or digital workflow. A park entry fee of $15 (in cash) will be required. Tuition does not include travel, accomodations or food. Space is limited to 10 students.

Photographers of all skill levels interested in landscapes and seascapes. You must have an SLR camera (digital strongly recommended) and a basic understanding of shutter speed, aperture and ISO. This workshop is for those who have at least a rudimentary understanding of their camera and want to take their images to the next level. An SLR camera (required), wide-angle lens or wide-angle zoom, split neutral density filters (if you have them already), a tripod, water, a jacket or sweater.
